Hot, sticky, wet, and wild, July rolled in with an eagerly anticipated trip to Spain over the 4th weekend. We visited Madrid for Pride, then Menorca to decompress—see My Favorite Corners of this magic island here. Back in NYC, the curse of Taylor Swift’s Madison Square Garden wedding brought wildfire smoke, explosive diarrhea, glass-filled bread, tornado warnings, and more, sending a spectacular start to summer, erm, somewhat sideways. Nevertheless, I visited some great new spots around the city, and also spent a gloriously sunny weekend out in Montauk thanks to The EDITION group. See the places that I loved this month below.
