My Italian adventure last month encompassed stays at no less than five hotels across Tuscany: from a rural bolthole to a coastal escape; a city crash-pad to the Ferragamo family’s former estate (such a hard job, I know!). The journey wasn’t all glamorous—cut to me lugging three heavy bags through the cobbled streets of Milan and Florence, and up the stairs of several non-ADA-compliant train stations. But every time I arrived at a destination, the beauty and serenity of this idyllic part of the world quickly melted away any travel stress.

While I considered writing a full review for each of these spots, I thought it would be more useful and efficient to summarize all of them together in one post. So, here we are! Read on for my thoughts on everywhere I stayed in Tuscany…
